The third Theological Foundations for Youth Ireland (TFY) was held in Cullybackey from Monday 11th to Thursday 14th August with thirteen young people taking part. TFY is an opportunity for deeper study of Reformed and Presbyterian convictions in an informal group setting. With six subjects, twelve lectures, a closing address, a book study, as well as times of psalm singing and prayer, it was a packed week, but also one that was full of rich encouragements. The young people threw themselves into studying how the principles of our church are rooted in the Word of God and discussing how those principles are worked out in day-to-day life.
The organisers are deeply thankful to the speakers, Revs David Fallows, Mark Loughridge, Robert M McCollum, Stephen Steele and Nathan Hawthorne, who prepared so diligently for the week; the cooks and Cullybackey deacons who contributed to the smooth running of the conference, and to all those who upheld this important work in prayer. Most of all we are thankful to God for the way in which he blessed the week’s labours and, with great expectation, look to him to provide lasting fruit for his glory.
