Cullybackey Reformed Presbyterian Church’s Holiday Bible Club took place from 30th June- 3rd July this year. Due to current restrictions the week’s events took place through a range of online videos and an accompanying activity pack.

The theme for the week was ‘Lost and Found’ – a series of lessons from the Parable of the Prodigal Son. Each day a video was shared on our church webpage telling the bible story, teaching the children how to make a related craft, and giving them a challenge to complete.

It was harder to gauge levels of engagement this year but over 60 activity packs were collected and there have been an average of 150 hits on each of the videos. We hope and pray that children and their parents heard the gospel message and seeds will have been planted.

On the closing day a ‘Hunt the leader’ challenge took place around the village. Children and their parents had to complete a walking treasure hunt and also spot 11 holiday club leaders hidden in costumes around the streets. There was a great turn out and the families who participated enjoyed themselves. This was a good opportunity to meet families in person and speak to children about the online teaching during the week.

If you would like to watch the bible lessons with a child you know they can still be found at http://www.cullybackeyrpc.org/ or the church Youtube channel.
