Rose Point R. P. Church used this year’s Answers in Genesis VBS program entitled “Emerald Crossing”. Psalm 23 was the Scripture passage for all lessons. We had three classes taught by the ladies of our church and both spiritual milk and meat were provided to the children in their classes. Each class had TFY student helpers and or/teen helpers from our church. The program was rounded out by the singing of the 23rd Psalm using several different tunes and some additional songs on the theme of sheep and the Shepherd. The daily missionary story was on the life and ministry of Patrick. The children loved the craft times, the recreation times, and the snack times as well. The skit enacted each day by TFY students and our own teens was a big hit! Our week ended with a program for parents and church members and a picnic on the lawn. We had a total of 22 children, aged 3 through 12, attending throughout the week. A collection was taken each day and the money given was sent to the R. P. church in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland for their use in ministry.
