The RPCI Young Adults Weekend 2024 was another hit!
This year we had the Rev Andrew Roycroft come and speak to us on “The man, Christ Jesus” and I think we can all agree that it was an encouraging, yet challenging set of talks. The weekend as a whole was filled with great opportunities for fellowship, both catching up with old friends as well as meeting new ones. I really enjoyed this year, but don’t just take my word for it. Here are some comments from this year’s attendees:
“I was really Challenged by Andrew and how we should focus on Christ in life’s challenges and when we are stagnant in our faith.” – Anna Coulter
“The bonfire was lit” – Anonymous
“It was great to hike through God’s amazing creation with friends & lend a helping hand to climb to new heights physically and in friendship, minimal injuries were achieved and the impossible was made possible.” – Robert Johnston
“A few of us headed to Murlough Beach for the afternoon which was a really lovely opportunity to get to know each other better and discuss how we’d been challenged by God’s word recently” – Eva Loughridge
” The volleyball was the Goat!” – Joshua Ellis
“As a young Christian artist, it was amazing to hear the significance and importance of art in this world, not only as an evangelistic tool, but as a means of expressing God’s image in us.” – Lois Kennedy
“I was so sleep deprived but such a wonderful and blessed weekend!! God is so good!” – Rachel Jemphrey
Well there you have it. Praise God for his goodness to us and a church filled with young people seeking to build one another up. Let’s go YAW 2025!
