In June, we began a Kids Club on Friday nights for primary school aged children. We were delighted to have 10 different children attend this first session before the summer, with an average of 6 each night. They all participated really enthusiastically in the games, Psalm singing, memory verse, Bible teaching and craft. The enjoyment of the children is really clear to see and this brings such delight to the leaders and to us as a church! We were also really encouraged by the eagerness of the church children to invite their friends from outside the church, giving us a roughly 50/50 split between our own little ones and those coming in.
Please give thanks with us for this new aspect of church life and for the encouragements of the short trial session before the summer. Pray for us as we resume in early September, God willing.
PRAYER POINTS:
- Pray that God will bless and build up the children of the church through the fun, friendships and teaching.
- Pray that God would bring in and save friends of the church children and those from the local community.
- Pray for God to work in the life of the teenage sister of one boy who comes to Kids Club. She brings him and picks him up and asked us before the summer if we could get her a Bible, which we very gladly did!
