This year Drimbolg congregation made the decision to hold its Holiday Bible Club at a different time of the year. The club ran during the half term holiday for three evenings from Monday 30th October to Wednesday 1st November 2023.

We wanted to offer children of primary school age a Christian focused alternative away from the worldly darkness of Hallowe’en festivities taking place at this time of the year. We were blessed with an enthusiastic and attentive group of children from our local area attending the club. It was really encouraging to see the number of young people in attendance increasing each evening as the club went on.

The theme of the club was “Little Lights”. Each night’s talk showed how, in the Bible, we see that the true light of the world is our Lord Jesus. The young people were encouraged to go out and be “Little Lights” for Him. The young people enjoyed games, talks, psalm singing , memory verse and, of course, juice and biscuits.

We are thankful for the wide skill sets within the congregation and how these skills were willingly volunteered. Everyone worked really hard to make this club succeed and we give thanks for the blessing each received from being part of it. We go forward in faith, trusting that the young people who attended will have been blessed through hearing the word of God, and His plans for them will be worked in His good time.
