From the 3rd-7th July we held our Holiday Bible Club, in the mornings from 10am-12pm. The Mission Team were a huge help to us in transforming the church hall into a tropical island, in helping to prepare snacks, organise games, sort the crafts, teach the memory verses, and give the talks.
Each day started with games followed by snacks, memory verse work, and Psalm singing. We then had a short drama about Errol and Penny who were stranded on Notonthemap Island and local Chief Whattamatta who gave them help each day. The Bible talks were on the I Am Sayings in the Gospels: I Am the Door, I Am the Good Shepherd, I Am the Vine, Lay up Treasures in Heaven, and I Am the Resurrection and the Life.
After the talk we had another episode in our drama, made our craft and had some more games before it was time to go home. It was great to have 12 children there throughout the week, and we hope that those who live locally will come back to Kids Club when it starts on the 18th August!
