Immanuel RPC in West Lafayette, Indiana, has now held two drive-in worship services: April 5th and April 12th, 2020. First, we checked with local officials that we would be able to conduct the service under the current restrictions. Then we set up scaffolding and a portable sound system. We broadcast the sermon and Psalms on a low-power FM transmitter. We worked to make the service shorter than normal, so kids wouldn’t become too uncomfortable in the cars. Our first service welcomed 24 cars and probably around 70 people, including several first-time visitors.

Pastor Olivetti preached an evangelistic message from Isaiah 33 encouraging those in attendance to “behold the king in his beauty” (Isa. 33:17). We received positive feedback and hope to have another service this Sunday!
