Rev Jason Housewright was installed as the minister of Syracuse RPC (in the state of New York) on Tuesday 16th April.
Jason obtained his bachelors degree in Biblical Education at Graham Bible College, he then went on to study at Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, where he obtained a Master of Divinity. Having been ordained in 2001, he previously served as Pastor of Presbyterian congregations in both Mississippi and in Alabama. Jason was then examined by the St Lawrence Presbytery on Feb 16th of this year and the date was subsequently set for his installation to the Syracuse congregation.
St. Lawrence Presbytery Moderator, Rev. Allan MacLeod (Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Toronto) presided over the installation service.
Presbytery Clerk, Rev. Brian Coombs asked the prescribed questions to Rev Housewright.
Rev. Andrew Quigley (recently installed Pastor of Ottawa RPC) delivered the charge to the Pastor, taking as his text – 2 Timothy 1&2.
Rev. Nick Iamaio (Oswego, New York) then installed Jason to the office of Pastor through prayer.
