At a recent meeting of the Pacific Coast Presbytery, a call to serve as the pastor of the Reno congregation was presented to Mr. Colin Samul, which he accepted.

Next, the court began the examinations for Colin Samul in preparation for his ordination in Reno.

He preached a sermon from Genesis 32:22-32 on Jacob wrestling with the Angel of the Lord. It was the best student sermon that I have ever heard.

He then was examined on personal godliness and his knowledge of reformed theology. I was asked to conduct the theology exam. Being more than happy with the results of the examination, Presbytery set the date for Mr. Samul’s ordination and installation on April 5. Everyone is invited to attend!
