The Tri-Lakes Reformed Church congregation is thankful to our Lord Jesus that he provided us with a new pastor in June of 2017. Joseph Friedly, along with his wife Morgan and five children, accepted our pastoral call and we are grateful for in his ministry amongst us.
We continue to worship at the Woodmoor Community Center in Monument, CO. In addition to our morning worship services every Lord’s Day, we have an evening service on the 1st and 3rd Lord’s Days of each month. Pastor Friedly is currently preaching through Romans in the morning service and doing a series in the Psalms of Accent in the evening. Our Sabbath school time has classes available for our youth and as well as a sermon reflection/discussion time and catechism study for the high schoolers and adults. We offer a monthly women’s study and men’s prayer breakfast, as well as twice monthly prayer groups that meet several places during the week. We also enjoy a fellowship meal on the first Lord’s Day of each month.
The Lord saw fit, even in the midst of a pastoral search, to add to our number new members and adherents. There are 52 communicant members and 22 baptized members in our congregation, and we are averaging around 90 in attendance each Lord’s Day morning. Additionally, the Lord was been pleased to add three baptized children to our number as well.
We are thankful for this growth, and are actively searching for another location that would meet our immediate need for space and provide a more suitable place for our congregation to minister in God’s Kingdom. Please pray with us as we look at opportunities for outreach in the greater Tri-Lakes region north of Colorado Springs. Our desire is to have an impact for Christ and His Church in this area where we meet and where most of us live.
