The Irish Synod has approved an exciting new event for young people that is due to be launched in Summer 2019. TFY Ireland will provide an opportunity to learn more about the Lord Jesus Christ and to dig deeper into the teachings he has given his church. It is open to anyone aged 16-22 who is currently attending a congregation of the Reformed Presbyterian Church and is approved by their session to participate.
TFY Ireland is modelled on the existing TFY (Theological Foundations for Youth) ministry in the RPCNA but will have some differences to its North American counterpart. However, there will also be many similarities: intensive times spent studying God’s word, lectures exploring the principles Jesus Christ has given his church, and opportunities to discuss the practical implications for life in the 21st century.
TFY Ireland will be held from 12th – 16th August 2019 at the Reformed Theological College, Belfast. Further details will be released soon, but in the meantime be sure to check out the website at tfyireland.com
