On July 20, 2018, Derek Baars was ordained to the Gospel ministry at The Shelter Reformed Presbyterian Church. The service was held at Bible Presbyterian Church in Edmonton.
Rev. Bob Hackett (Shelter RPC) gave the charge to the new minister.
Rev. Patrick McNeely from the Squamish church plant gave the charge to the new congregation. Prior to this service, Mr McNeely was the most recently ordained minister in the presbytery, having just been ordained and installed to his own congregation in April this year.
The congregation was joined by other members of the Pacific Coast Presbytery as they met together to honour God and His rich providence and kindness towards them as a congregation. You can watch the full service here:
