Yesterday, on Sunday 10th June, Christ RPC in Providence, Rhode Island ordained and installed Gabriel Wingfield was an Associate Pastor.
Gabriel initially attended the congregation in Providence while studying at Brown University before taken under care of the Atlantic Presbytery and studying for the ministry at RPTS.
Gabriel, who is married with one child, is being funded through a program call “Resident in Training” and the hope is to be in a position to plant another congregation in New England at some point in the future.
Pray for church planting in New England as the brethren there are working in hard soil.
