The recent Fellowship Camp at Dixons Creek was, as always, a blessing to each of us as we attended. We had many opportunities to share the gospel and our lives together (1 Thessalonians 2:8) and to grow in our relationships with God and with each other.

Andres Miranda (minister of the Knox PCEA) spoke on the theme of the simple things of the Christian life: New Birth, Holiness, Growth, and Work: Challenging each of us to think about the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives, and our responsibilities in the Christian life.  Jono and Louise Blakston (Frankston RPC) taught the young children from Psalm 115 and Stephen and Jeanne Webb (Geelong RPC) taught the older ones about creation, and the body of Christ.

We enjoyed the fantastic cooking of Adele and James Ellery (Geelong RPC) over the course of the weekend. There were times for walking, talking, relaxing, and enjoying each other’s company. As well as some crazy and fun games and activities organised by different people from the congregations, including relays, tug-of-war, a bush dance, a skipping competition, an epic quiz, and some bush bashing.

It always is a good and pleasant thing to be dwelling together in unity (Psalm 133) and spend time with each other from our three congregations getting to know one another, and grow in our friendships, as well as to be challenged in our relationships with God.
