We have some information regarding the Family Day Conference 2018! If you live in Northern Ireland or Scotland please share this with your congregation, over the next few weeks, so that they can register for the conference, get the date in their diaries and plan to attend.

The conference will be held on Sat 10th March 2018 DV in Cullybackey RP Church. The theme of the conference is “Teaching children reverence and joy in worship.” Rev. David Whitla (pictured below), who has served on the youth ministry committee of the American Synod, and himself has five young children, will be speaking at the conference.

Child care is provided on the day and I am sure you are well aware that a lot of help is needed to facilitate this. Last year’s conference had an increase in attendees which was a real answer to prayer. We did struggle to find enough volunteers to help with child care therefore we would be most grateful if you could ask if there is anyone in your congregation who would be willing to help during the day. (Preferably people who do not have young families themselves, ie. Senior Camp age or older people who are free to come along and help.)

Thank you in advance and we would ask you to remember the planning and preparation for the conference in your prayers and encourage families to attend.
